Premium Chromium Carbide Clad Wear-Plate

Precision-100 wear-plate provides the ultimate in cost-effective abrasion resistance in both dry and wet applications. It is a duplex structure of high quality mild steel as a substrate overlaid with a proprietary alloy of chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon and iron. This unique alloy combined with a closely controlled state-of-the-art manufacturing process results in an overlay with minimal dilution and consisting of massive quantities of chromium carbides in a matrix of hard martensite combined with enough retained austenite to make the plate readily formed and corrosion resistant. This combination of wear resistance, formability and corrosion resistance make Precision-100 the cost effective solution to your abrasive wear problems. Precision-100 is easily formed and welded into complex or simple engineered components and can be weld repaired in the field.
